Had the most amazing time in Valencia. Won a holiday there for two for a week, with a lovely four star hotel, lots of meals, trips and oh they built a papermache sculpture (ninot) of me to be part of the festival which they burnt at the end of the week! As you do.

Everyone in the town square for the Mascleta. A daytime firework display where the aim seems to be to create so much noise that you are in real danger of bursting your eardrums. We watched from the town hall, from the mayor's office.



The bioparc there was better than any zoo or animal based park I've ever been to



Umm 150,000 people march through the town over two days giving flowers, it's called the oferenda



The Falla that I was part of which cost around 150,000 euros to make burning

wow that ninot looks awesome, shame you had to burn it! I wonder what's the significance, I know it can mean something else in other cultures (which would make me uneasy!). Fab win though, thanks for sharing. :T

No photo's as such as the ones I took are terrible quality, but here are a few links to some videos I took of the DJ's who played at PIAS Nites in Brussels on Friday.
We had a great night and it was one hell of a party, must have been around 10,000 people there and the atmosphere was amazing.
