Just to update...
Received another email from Boots to say that they'd checked with the sales department and the damaged candle was a known problem and so they have now credited my advantage card with £25 of points. It means I can buy a replacement candle from my local store or something of equal value, if the candle isn't available.

I have also had a reply from Boots saying they will credit my Advantage Card with 2500 points so quite happy with that.

I just got something from Rizla, it was 10 x packs of really thin limited edition rolling papers ?
