flat roof "ponding"

Options
hi there, my garage flat felt roof has a small pond of water left on it every time it rains but it does not leak, does anyone know if there is any type of self leveling compound you can use on it and then repaint it with solar paint so that the water runs off again as it should, thanks
If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of payments.

Gravel is a better option. It increases surface area so water evaporates faster.

the roof should have a fall on it. you need to investigate whats happened to it?
    maybe the joists have dropped?

The dip may be a consequence of a minor leak which may not be apparent, do not fill in the dip unless you are absolutely sure no water is penetrating the felt. Is the dip a consequence of construction or has it occured subseqently? Has your garage roof a ceiling? if it has you may not be aware of a minor leak. If the roofing board is losing it's integrity, ie as a consequense of getting wet, then by filling in the dip you will be adding to your problem.

Take the advice given by Ormus. Check the reason why there is ponding. If it was not always there then it must be due to a defect in one or more joists. Just filling the 'pond' might be a temporary fix, but the underlying problem will not go away
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

    Hi,

I have a new roof just installed about 5 x 5 meters, wiyh a flitch beam re-inforcement on 4x2" joists There was a fall on the plywood - we checked before the roof was laid a week later. Since the flat roof has been laid, there is a dip in the middle..

If it is a new roof and a small pond I would not worry.

If it is felted, keeping it damp is beneficial and if it is fibre glass. Boats are made of that.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

Or add a rubber duck and make it into a water feature
