I'm currently on PrePay meters and got sick of my old supplier charging standing charge, did a quick search and found EBICo.
I'm baout to go inot my first month of supply with them (So i have to go through the stupid top-up-your-meter-three-times ritual) and i was just wondering what other people's experience has been. So far they've been wonderful, very polit eon the phones, very helpful explaining everything to me and the switch was smooth as can be.
I just hope it satys that way

I am on prepayment meter on EDF dual fuel, i spoke to Ebico last week about switching and they sound really nice and helpful only that i ahven't got the time to sign up due to pressure from work.
how long did it take you to switch?Though the vision may not be the true future of man but it can't be completely beyond his control.0 -

I don't know the amount of my gas and electric consumption, never received any statement from EDF, when ever its time for the statement, they will send me a later saying they have no records of the amount of gas and electric i have used, then they will send me a new card (though they receive my top up payments).
EDF engr is coming out on monday to reset my meters to the new price, i have spoken to Ebico and thay said when i switch to them they will change my elect meter, is there any sense in edf resetingthe meter as its will be changed later?Though the vision may not be the true future of man but it can't be completely beyond his control.0 -
Six weeks is about average (i've seen over twelve at work but it's usually the result of some major problem)
As for how long it took to actually apply, it was about ten minutes online plus a couple of extra minutes to actually get the reads from my meter.0
