You get wii branded memory cards? *blink*

The answer to the question is, you need to use SD memory cards for the wii. They are very cheap. See here http://www.ebuyer.com/product/122945

    512Mb for less than £2
    Rocky.
  • get more than 512 though, i would say 2GB

You need a SD card, if you go down to morrisons they have them on offer at the moment, a 2GB Sandisk one is only £5. :)

You don't 'need' a memory card.

The wii has 512mb on board memory for game saves etc, if you go beyond that then you might need more, if you download a lot of stuff like wii ware etc.

The other use is for viewing photos on it etc.

The wii can take a sd card up to 4gb, but as i've said, you don't need one right away, depending on your usage.

  • as kevsan said, they have 512 built in memory.
  • I bought a 2 gig card for mine but ended up taking it out and using it in my camera as it wasn't being used for anything.
Nothing to see here, move along.
