Tesco Creditcard -clubcard link

Just received my new tesco creditcard and see that it is also usable as a clubcard. I entered my original clubcard number on the original application so are they now linked or will I now have 2 clubcard accounts, i.e. one with existing points in it and then new one on creditcard?

I have a clubcard plus and a Tesco credit card,and i get 2 postings of vouchers every quarter.

It will say at the bottom of your receipt when you shop at Tesco "includes xxxx TPF (Tesco Personal Finance) points" this part is how much you have spend on your credit card.

Think the intention was that the credit card would replace the old clubcard and points get merged...
but thats not what happened to me, so got 2 separate point statements , ( 1 for old clubcard points, Other for credit card points and spending points- as they no longer need your club card ) with 2 sets of the other "free money off/ extra points" which will mean I will use old card again ...

When I first got my Tesco Credit Card the points I earned on it were not linked to my original Clubcard account even though I had put my Clubcard number on the application form and I received two mailings.

I rang the Clubcard helpline and they added my Credit Card to my original Clubcard account (so now I just get one mailing, although the points are shown seperately).

I rang the clubcard helpline last week to link my cc with my clubcard and they said they are not doing that anymore.

Really ? I sometimes use my old clubcard vouchers with my tesco credit card, I've even mistakenly used my mom's vouchers and it went through. Somehow, I don't think the vouchers are linked to the card... could be wrong though

You can however, link your clubcard to your clubcard+ which is what I've done...

I thought payless just meant that they'd do a few shops on the old clubcard each quarter to get 2 sets of the money off vouchers/extra points that come with the mailings, but I could have misinterpreted?
