Reminds me of a couple of instances.

A few years ago, my brother in law took his duaghter into B&Q to look for some tools, my niece went wandering off, when her dad finally found her, she was just getting down from a display toilet. Needless to say, he was very embarrassed, however, when he told a staff-member what had happened, they told him not to worry, but it happens on a regular basis. I don't think I'll be buying any ex-display loos from there.

My 2 year old needed to go when we were at the top of the London Eye! Luckily there was another tot there whose clever Mum had a potty under the buggy, so our blushes were saved.

I can also back up what was said about loos in DIY shops, a relative of mine also worked in one and finding that a display loo had been used was quite common.

I've got a pink one of these for potty training. Would not have left home without it. Brilliant, folds flat and on one very very desperate occaision, I have been known to use it. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

i never knew that there was still such a thing as a pay toilet. i think the last ones i saw were the really old ones that you put a penny in the mechanisum on the door but that was about 35 years ago
