Does the touchpad have any buttons underneath it?

Same way as you do on a pc!

Left click your cursor at the start of what you want to cut, hold down the shift key, left click where you want to end and you've highlighted the area. Next right click and select 'cut'. - Left click to where you want to position your highlighted section, right click and select 'paste' and there you go!

I've just copied and pasted your message, using my laptop mousepad. Click the left side of touchpad and drag text you want to copy. When test highlighted, press Ctrl & C, and to copy (or paste), press Crtr V.

    Good luck

touchpad should have two buttons similar function to a mouse so you can highlight text - then right click to select COPY / PASTE

also a keyboard shortcut CTRL C (copy) and CTRL V (paste)
