I find this amazing. She lived on £1 per day for a whole year. This includes food, going out and travel.
There is myself and my OH, so I think £2 per day for both of us will be an exciting challange. Just think I am spending £60 car tax, £60 petrol, £130 shopping, plus then theres fags and magazines general spending is about £300 per month between the two of us!
Were spending £500 a month on food, travel and going out..... if we spent £2 per day between the 2 of us £60 per month thats saving £440 per month thats £5280 per year! :j
Is anyone else up for the challange????
£1 per day for a year?
PM me and i'll add you to the challange
Any ideas post them for support, let us know how your getting on

http://www.frugal.org.uk/recipes.html - Recipies on here less than £1 per person per day. Some reciepies are less than 50p

Good luck on this, if you want some ideas on how to make good wholesome food really cheaply see Weezl's 50p a day diary on the OS board.Linky.
I know I couldn't do it as I have two growing boys who eat far more than £2 in a day, but have cut down spending greatly by finding this site.
Good luck.
