Can anyone suggest a good site to get textbooks at a reduced price, I don't mind secondhand/used. My course is Film,Media and Cultural Studies. I have looked on Amazon etc but they all cost a fortune. Thanks

Are you at university? You might be able to get second hand books from students already there.

you could try ebay or ask in your uni libraryMega Doctor Who, Gadget and MSE Fan!

You could try http://www.greenmetropolis.co.uk too, I found quite a few of my recommended reading list on there and then resold them when I was done. The book itself costs £3.75 then postage is added on top which depends on the weight of the books. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Don't want to state the obvious, but have you actually started yet and do you really need to buy them?
I ask because more often than not, you can get by without many of the books on reading lists.0
