Sell O2 shares

Hi MoneySavers....
I recently got some post from O2 offering to buy my shares off of me as they have been taken over by telephonica. I originally got these shares from BT automatically a few years ago and they amount to only a couple of hundred quid. What i don't know is whether i should say yes or no, and what the considerations are? Any advise would be appreciated.
