Thinking of selling my house by auction hoping it will be quicker than the usual method.
Does the house need a HIP?

Yes, you need a HIP. Selling a portfolio of 2 or more, no.0

Yes you do if your property is in England or Wales.
I think being in an auction catalogue constitutes marketing and you are required to have commissioned a HIP before marketing.
If someone were to approach you to buy your property and you have not marketed it - you don't need a HIP0
