Flat wedding shoes

Hello everyone,
My current troublesome area is shoes... has anyone seen any nice flat wedding shoes anywhere?
I've seen so many lovely ladylike high heeled pairs but if I wear them I will tower over the groom! I'm struggling to find any pretty flats I like at all - they all seem to be ugly and look they would be worn by either a 10 year old or an 80 year old...
So I just wondered if anyone had seen anything that was flat but looked glamourous and nice and weddingy like the high heeled ones... And of course they need to be money saving!
Any ideas?
Thanks guys
Starla

What size are you? Some of the childrens bridesmaid shoes go up to a size 5.
I looked for some from M&S but ended up getting a bargain from eBay for 3 matching pairsOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

How flat do they need to be?
BHS have a nice range of wedding shows and some lovely strappy ones with low heels. I also saw lovely wedding flip flop type shoes in bridal shop when looking for bridesmaid shoes for DD. They were expensive but gorgeous.
Look on Ebay and your local dance shops.

im also having flat shoes as all the wedding shoes i have seen have either been sooo ugly, or so high that i know i'll have very sore feet by the end of the day!!
i had a look on ebay, and saw some pretty shoes there, or some of the more expensive shoe websites usually have pretty, flat shoes (i cant remember which sites i looked on now - sorry!!:o )

Are these any good? BHS wedding pumps or these? Ebay Auction“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

Have you tried your local dress-maker? THey can get shoes made in your fabric.
Top tip: wear your shoes a LOT before the big day to make sure they are worn in. ANd remember to take the sticky label off the sole - not a good look when kneeling at the altar rail.0 -
Mine don't hugely look like the traditional wedding shoes but I wanted to be able to wear them again and not pay a fortune for them. They were £12 from New Look and I've now got a black pair for work

Mine were a little tight despite having worn them in for a while - top tip from a friend of mine was to wear them with socks - not very sexy but worked like a dream :rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone.
I have size 7 feet so children's shoes aren't an option. And I think they need to be pretty much completely flat as H2B is only an inch taller than me and by the time I have tiara/veil that difference will pretty much be taken up.
I do normally love flat pumps in everyday life (december I have those in black too for work and love them, I wear them loads, they're a bargain!) but want something a bit more special for the big day.
I think what I want probably doesn't exist and I just have shoe envy of all the pretty high heels I have seen and wish I could wear them! Maybe I need to get H2B to wear platforms! :eek:0
