What will happen?

I have moved away from Britain about 2 years ago. I had a debt on my credit card that I could not pay off so I left my current account open and deposited enough money there to make the monthly payments on my credit card.

Unfortantely, my credit card details were stolen and someone had a bit of fun. the minumum payment skyrocketed unfortuneately there was not enough money in the account (yeah I know I should have checked more). I complained to the cc company which is the same as my current account. I was told it was straightened out. I deposted more money. However, they charged me fees, and they never straightened out the fraud so it happened again. It took a total of over 7 months to clear the fraud off...not because of an investigation just their slackness.

Now I have accrued £130 in fines from my current account. I did just pay off the balance of my cc so that not a problem. I however, dont want to pay the fees for what I think is partly their problem. I paid the non payment fees on the credit card but I dont want to pay them on the current account. I feel we are both to blame, me for not keeping check on things and believing them when they said it was straightened out and them for being so slack about removing the fraud from my cards.

I REALLY dont want to pay the fees, and I complained in which I got a letter saying they didnt find the fraud on my card    . Anyway, this has gone on for over a year and I have had enough. What will happen if I dont pay the fines. All £130 debt is fines, not outstanding debt. I am so frustrated. Can this follow me? I am worried about what it might to do my old flatmate's credit as sometimes credits get linked to addresses.
