Hardship Claims

Hi all,
A query. I am claiming back £12,000 (yes, twelve thousand pounds) from Lloyds TSB and I am obviously keen to speed things up if at all possible?
I am currently £1800 overdrawn with Lloyds in the account I am claiming from (and still paying unauthorised OD payments) and I am £600 behind in car payments (I need my car for my job). I also owe money in a secured loan but am up to date and have no mortgage arrears. The claim will sort us out and mean that all non-mortgage debt is finally gone forever!!! (We originally had debts of £35,000+, we've got it down to just under £11,000 now!).
Can you claim hardship if you are behind and overdrawn as I am above? We are just about surviving month to month with a bit of spare cash, so I have always thought I'd not qualify for a hardship claim as we are not yet going under! Just wondering if that is really the case.
Thanks
Simon
