Is parcel2go reliable?

Hi,
I used to book deliveries through an ebay seller ballonandgift but it appears they no longer do it. Parcel2go seems to be a popular alternative but a quick search of parcel2go reviews shows many unhappy customers ( http://www.ciao.co.uk/www_parcel2go_com__6143207). Is this because only people with bad experiences want to share them or are they really that bad? Any others you would recommend?
Thanks.

I have used them a lot but the main hassle i found is if they dont collect / having to wait in all day for them to collect.
I have just started to use parcel2ship , much better as i can drop parcels into a local Parcelforce depot and for a 2-3 day service its only £6.99 for up to 30kg. Incl. £150 compensation cover.WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
Blimey what was that ?
That was your life mate
Oh I wasn’t quite ready can I have another go ?
Sorry mate only one per person.0 -
I used to use parcel2go, but had a few problems with collections. I had selected the cheapest option which turned out to be the Home Delivery Network, and it was quite difficult getting thru to someone and explaining the problem. Not sure if they still use HDN, but their prices are also more expensive than others like interparcel so I don't use them anymore.Do You Twitter?

Expensive, poor cut-off time, time consuming booking system, a million emails

I have used them on several occasions and always choosing the cheaper option. It has always been DHL who collect the parcel.
I have not had any problems with them at all.
I think it may depend on the area you live as to what the courier/drivers are likeIf this has helped you please don't forget to click Thanks, thankyou.0 -

Just had a look at this site. Could solve my dilemma of shipping liquids as they use parcelforce. Shame no depot near me to drop off but still...0 -

Thats a good price for Parcelforce but you need to be near a depot to take advantage of it otherwise its £13.99 for them to collect from you.
After nightmares with payperdrop (good riddance) and parcel2go my preference is now Parcels 4 delivery https://www.p4d.co.uk They charge £6.64 + VAT (£7.80) for a DHL 48 hour service. They have never missed a collection, their customer service is fast and efficient and DHL normally delivery it next day.0 -

This seems to suddenly have gone up to £13.99. All their other options have too! Drat!0
