Internet connection issue

  • The pings either all time out or there is a long wait and it says cannot connect to the site I have used for the ping.

    in the box type cmd

    then type

    ipconfig /all


    this is a MUST when diagnosing network issues, and really will help us help you... why spend money on something you may not need, when we're trying to help!!!!

  • Had a brainwave and downloaded latest version of the software for the wireless adaptor from the Netgear site via my desktop PC. Installed this on the laptop and seems to have solved the issue. Thanks for all the advice.
