Morning all. Interesting start to the day - tried to put the kettle in the fridge this morning:rotfl: HUbbles is now busy telling the world about my baby brain...

merMaz - well done on the swimming. Is there no hairdryer at your gym? If you want I have a hot air brush that I don't use - its yours if you want it.

Hugs and cheers where appropriate. Will report back on any further kettle type incidents:rotfl:

Oh dear!!! Kettle in the fridge... you sure it's baby brain or a blonde moment as a result of those sexy new blonde highlights?!?!

Thanks for the offer of a hot air brush... not sure it would work in my hair as it's pretty short now.... there are hairdryers but not always working... so i go in slightly damp and straighten it about half 10... so normal hair service has now been resumed! Thanks for really kind offer i really appreciate it...

Thankfully my work is not the kinda place where looks matter, in fact i could probably wear jeans every day but i choose to try and look smart purely out of self respect....

hadn't thought of that - it has been worse since the 'do so perhaps a combination:p

No problem - although I did use it when I had a 1920s bob haircut about 18months ago. I have too much hair for it now and its much easier just to tie it back when its wet than use the hot brush. The offer stands if you change your mind;)

Good for you. I get a real boost out of looking smart for work and it helps me switch off at night when I change into my comfies...

Maz you are getting right into this fitness thing arent you? i should too

I've been doing something each week for a while now, but running and swimming combi has just taken off moreso, or maybe i'm just talking about exercising a lot, but not doing anything!!

Sex is good exercise, or so they tell me!

Speaking of sex, well sort of, i have decided to get my implanon contraceptive rod removed as i think it is the cause of my lack of weight loss... given the amount of exercise i do i feel i should be seeing more results than i am..... i eat sensibly, although i don't diet per se.

I am going to get it taken out, and be without it or any hormonal contraceptive for 6 months as a trial and see if my weight loss speeds up.... Graham has agreed to "take care" of that side of affairs for the first time in 15 years. It will be for 6 months, so we reckon maybe 1 or 2 packets of three should do us!! it's not like my name is snaggles or bunny or jinky or anything!!! (or louise or sammy or lucifa....... there are a lot of sexy wenches on here aren't there!!)

Then we will revisit after 6 months and see if any changes, and think of a longer term solution... i'm thinking snip snip but he's not keen, lets see if 6 months of condoms changes his mind!! lol!!

    Sorry if TMI.... :o

what's sure is that there will be no more babies in that time, that is not part of the plan!!!!

The new pill I am on makes me feel a bit sickly and eat loads:o OH won't even discuss the "SNIP"............he reckons he would be the one in 10,000 whose nads swell up the size of pineapples:rolleyes:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Be careful with statements like that on here!! :rotfl:

Hope it works for you, I'm a bit wary of any of these long term things after a bad experience with the depo injections.
