OH Maz, poor you and poor Erin :grouphug:
Not OTT at all though personally I would take the A) andout and just sign off 'I await your response' or something similar - she's your baby and her welfare is the most important thing in the world, you don't need to justify wanting a proper response.
I don't suppose her birthday is coming up? Parties are usually good for popularity, kids are so fickle...0 -

I've given up trying to buy them and offering up our house as a great place to come and hang out... it never works out for more than a matter of hours and always ends in tears....
i thought the AB part would explain why i have gone directly with a letter, although to be honest it is more for the former than the latter....I'm bawling my eyes out as i write this!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Maz
that breaks my heart and is my biggest fear for my DD. I had such a hard time (very similar to Erin) and I so don't want that for DD.
I think the letter is great, factual but without being forceful and pointing the finger.
I hope they sort it out and poor wee Erin finds a true friend who will see her for the lovely girl who she is.I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I'm so tired. Work is so draining at the moment, and Elliot has had a rough day at nursery. His keyworker is off and as he is so new no one else really knows him and his patterns yet - so he did not have an afternoon nap - poor mite screamed his head off in the car coming home and has been pretty inconsolable since. He has been asleep for an hour, OH has gone out for chips as the dinner he cooked was ruined after DS was violently sick everywhere
my poor baby. I hate that the nursery had the best of him today, we had no fun, no games, toys all untouched, just bath milk and bed today
he is usually a lot happier in the evenings so hopefully it's a one off. He was fine last week in the evenings, maybe he'll be better again when his keyworker is back...
I can hear him snoring on the monitor, so so cute!0 -

You have such a good way with words... i know where you're coming from on that score, i used to feel the same when Erin was little, in fact i feel like that nowadays most of the time as well.... it gets easier once you can verbalise it with them, and they can reassure you they still love ya anyway!!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

:grouphug: I prescribe wine and chocolate in the short term (for you, not Erin! you could share the choc I suppose...)
I can understand that and it's not how it should be anyway - I just know from experience that you (as a child) can be written off until there is something cool about you, but it sucks if they are really just fair-weather mates with her and mean otherwise.
Maybe their teacher could talk to them about bullying and how it comes in different forms, and how it effects children - and maybe find some stuff on celebs who were bullied but look how great they turned out etc? Some children might get swept up by their peers and not even realise what they're doing0 -

I cling to that thought - that it gets easier!
Right my chips are here, good timing too as I am getting all emotional0 -

Sweetie
We know you weren't trying to upset people. It always pulls at your hearts strings as a mother as its one of your worse fears.
Go and get yourself a glass of something strong and give Erin an extra big hugs (and one from me too)I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
