Just bought a new laptop and been mulling over Office 2007 but the price puts one off and I would like a version with outlook in it. Open office is a choice I know.
Ebay been selling office (sbe) for £180, but came accross students4software.com and you can put it on 2 machines
Amazing prices, all ligitimate
All one needs is to be a parent or uncle I would say, does not matter how old the child is , could be 3.
If your looking for office this is a real saver, or for any other microsoft software

Student licensing has been available for a very long time on MS software.

Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007 is available from normal software retailers – online and in shops – and is licensed for home use. As this is available for any home user, you do not need to prove that you are a student or associated with an educational establishment.0

And of course the www.theultimatesteal.co.uk is even better value for money."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Ah yes, but only open to those in higher education, since it requires a .ac.uk email.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

Has been mentioned many times and the eligibility section is quite explicit, so didn't think it was worth me regurgitating what's already there only a click away."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I searched for a thread about Software4Students as I found the site from a search within the Microsoft UK site. They are a Microsoft partner.
Big advantage for a lot of people is that any parent/gaurdian with a child at school can purchase software from this site (Microsoft) - all you need to enter is the students name, and the name of the educational establishment they attend - no need for a college email address or getting teachers to sign forms, and considerably lower prices than Office 2007 student which last time I looked did not have outlook.
I have ordered Expression Web 2 for £24.45 + £1.95 transaction charge, free delivery.
Other products
Microsoft Encarta Premium £11.95
Office 2007 Standard (with outlook) £35.45
Office 2007 Pro Plus £46
Office 2007 enterprise edition £57
and others
Looks very good to me. Thanks to OP.0 -
I should also add to this thread that for NHS employees, the NHS participates in the Microsoft Home User Programme, which allows NHS employees to buy Office 2007 for home use for around £17. For this offer you do need an NHS email address.

If your educational institution is signed up (I think most universities are at least) you can actually get the entire Expression Studio 2 for completely free (also Visual Studio Pro 2008 and others) at https://downloads.channel8.msdn.com/"She is quite the oddball.
