US Channels on Sky

Not being a tecno wizard can anyone tell me I can get proper US channels via my Sky dish? I know we get some on Sky but not the same as the ones you watch when there,

You're quite right, it's not the same. TV here doesn't have mind-numbing ads every 30 seconds.

I'd suggest a quick blast of this every few minutes while you're watching CSI would have much the same effect.

i'm going to say,

you cannot receive any US channels via Satellite TV here in the UK, this is because the earth is not flat, and the satellites are beyond the horizon that are pointed to the USA.

Tune into 509 and you get real US TV, with the Fox News Channel, that is all you can get..

bribe a friend, to put a slingbox in their house, and then you can watch what they're watching via the internet (if you have any friends who live in the US)

get a US iTunes account, and then you can buy tv shows from it the day after they are broadcast...
