Drag and drop gone

I've just found out that I can no longer drag and drop on my XP machine,, really weird, has anyone had this before?

No definitely not, have tried an external mouse to see if that makes any difference.

So is this a laptop with a touchpad then?

Yeah but not a faulty touchpad either, gonna have to visit a shop I think,

Try highlighting, right click copy and right click paste instead.

No but have you checked the touchpad settings and did you disable the touchpad when you connected the mouse?

try reseting your computer first before anyting

Just done a full defrag with System Mechanic and seems to have done the trck, thanks for all the advice
