Good call, and if the Europcar T&Cs are the same as the easyjet/Europcar T&Cs Then as long as OP tried to pay with another credit card and was refused then they should be ok. But the way I read the OP the OP does not have any credit cards so they could not have offered an alternative. The OP offered the alternative of cash.
Yes, I was also thinking this, but the way the OP has stated it, is it the case that they ONLY requested the original card, and didn't ask them for a different card as they ONLY wanted the original? (thus wouldn't matter if OP had another card or not, as it wasn't given as an option).Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
