Hello
I have an older hp printer and it is in perfectly good working order. I have recently bought a new laptop which only has usb connections to connect your printer.
Which is where my problem lies. My printer has got the old leads that are long wide conection I dont know what they are called sorry.
I want to know if you can buy some sort of different cable that has the long connection on one side and the usb on the other to connect to my new laptop as this would save me money in buying a new printer when there is nothing wrong with my old one.
I really hope I am making sense here ans I am not very techy minded.
I would appreciate any help.
Kind Regards
mrst

Its called a parallel port/cable. You can find USB to parallel adaptors from Amazon, maplins and the usual places now you know what they are called
. Never used one, though it should be fairly simple. 0 -
