Just found this while channel hopping. Apparently it's a change to the advertised episode. Seems to be about factories shutting and rising unemployment thus far.

The couple with thier tiling business was sad, I really did feel for them
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Yes I totally agree, it was very sad, having built a really good business they now found themsrlves signing on:(
However, on a lighter note, that 5 mins on the EA came accross like a comedy sketch, he made 2 phone calls all day, one of which wasn't answered, I couldn't help but smirk a little, sorry0 -
I felt for them too, but i wondered why they didn't put some money aside, when i think (correct me if i am wrong) she boasted they had made over 1 million in a year and more the next.
well that was turnover, so not the same as profit.
They looked like thety had a fleet of about 20 vans & staff... so quite a lot of turnover would have gone to these salaries in any case. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

i thought the whole thing was upsetting.
At the moment its all everyone talks about - how expensive everything is, how we're all struggling and suddenly you find people sharing their intimate financial details with you..this programme showed the reality, however harsh, it is.
A lot of us on MSE are lucky, partly because of MSE, to be a bit more money savvy than many other people out there. I soooo wanted to get intouch with all of the families on there and tell them about Martin!0 -
