I rate Goodyear F1s highest, I have fitted via Blackcircles.
I've tried Kuhmo Ectsa Sports recently, pretty good on roads in wet and dry, not as good as F1s when driven on track.
    Happy chappy

Maxxis is a budget brand from Taiwan. I've got them on a trailer, not sure if I would put them on a wheel that has to stop/start/steer

I've found my Bridgestone tyres to be good all round and excellent in the wet. They do wear quickly though (I went through the fronts in 14k miles) so perhaps not great for the harsh conditions of B roads.
