PC World, does everyone get *rap service?

Options
Or is it just me?
Spoken to(by a moron) as if I'm a moron.
Told me they are doing me a 'favour' by reparing my PC which is covered by a rather costly service agreement.
They didn't listen to what I told them, were unable to assimilate the information I attempted to give them ( because of course they know better than me ), consequently, their attempts to repair failed!!!
I'm too disgusted to type out the catalogue of their failures and inadequacies, but suffice to say, I am sitting here without my desktop PC following a farcical attempt to get it repaired.

Reassure me someone please, that they will eventually do the job I have paid good money for.

    >Reassure me<

LOL. PC World staff...because they failed the test of flipping burgers for a McJob.
  • Pretty much what I thought.
Told them today I will be ringing the 'Sun' and inviting them to be present at my next altercation with them!
Thing is, I don't think they give a damn.
  • Seems they have not changed !

years back i took my pc in for service it was running slow lots of spyware i suspect as kids used pc for online game.
got it back no difference at all ! waste of time doubt they did anything
sent it back in and this time got it back with broken disc drive !
had to take it back again for them to repair that, which they did.

i have never taken a service plan since.

never had any issues with other pc's luckily.

But then again never bought a pc from them since !

Sadly, since they got their hands on it, that is not an option!

Since they've had my PC, they have
    Replaced the fan
    Replaced the motherboard
    Replaced the CPU.....
I collected it and they hadn't repaired/corrected the original fault/problem as dicussed with them :-
    Windows - no disk Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c

I tried to reinstall windows, unsuccesfully, took it back to them and lo and behold, they ca't reinstall windows either.
They think it might be a problem with the processor!!! "You mean the new one you've just installed?"
"Did we install a new processor?"
    ....... to be continued

Unfortunately I agree, they are a complete shower.

Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

Many, many threads on the forums about them, a quick search will bring up a raft of dissatisfaction.

My favourite animation about them from Weeble & Bob here, so funny!
