Card Protection Plan

Options
Can anyone help?

A few years back I had cover with CPP which covered my bank/credit cards and valuable documents (eg. passport) in case of loss, theft or change of address.

I have thought about taking this policy out again. Is this worth me doing (I have recently read Martin's article on Card Protection Insurance)? If so, would I wise to use CPP again or can anyone recommend another compnay.

Anyone's help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

  • I personally do not see the value of CPP or any other similar card protection policies.

If my cards get lost/stolen, i'll phone the card providers as soon as i discover it's happened. It means i have to phone 3 companies rather than just 1, but i reckon i can handle that. Especially given the hassle you have to go through of calling up to advise them of every single change to your card details (issue number, renewal card having different number, etc.).

That's just my opinion, relevant only to my personal circumstances though.

I agree with Caped Avenger, but in case you still are looking for another company, it is Sentinel .
