hi all, hope someone can help with my question, i am a stay at home mom and my oh is on incapacity benefit and we get income support,we have 3 children, i want to look for work and have been offered a part time job, what i want to know is what would happen to my oh incapacity benefit and would i get any help with rent and council tax?
i think i would be entitled to wtc but do not know how much?

depending on your income your I/S may stop,you would then have to apply for rent and council tax benefit on the basis of low income(if thats the case)0

Assuming your husbands Incapacity Benefit is paid due to the NI contributions he has made rather than IS by reason of Incapacity with Incapacity credits it would not be affected by you working.0
