Website design software

Options
Hi guys

Have been dabbling a bit with photography recently and have been told by a few people to set up a website and maybe an online shop.

I'm a bit dense when it comes to web design and stuff so does anyone have any recommendations about a program that will make it easy for me?

Cheers

If you want the most professional, and be prepared for a learning curve (steep if you don't know your CSS from your HTML) then there isn't much to hold a candle to Adobe Dreamweaver.

Sothink HTML editor is free - if you only open one application at a time. Ten pounds buys you the full version. That gives you handy aps like clocks and scrolling text.

Go online to freeserif to download Serif Web Plus 10 -an application with ready-made pages and instructions on putting your own site together using templates provided, afterwards you can tweak it if you want -don't actaully need to know anything about codes and languages
may you live in interesting times

i also use dreamweaver. really is the best. but it aint really suitable for beginners.
there are free progs around that will get you going.
for anything more than pretty basic stuff, you will need a steep learning curve.
    (as been said).
    Get some gorm.
