If you have come out of a five year deal with them in the last couple of years i suggest you check your bills.
Many of my clients have been coming to contract end over the last year or two and we discovered a very interesting fact.
Npower were renewing people from the contract sign date and not the live date. It would take a number of months ( not unknown to be between 6-9 months ) going back 5-7 years ago to get a site live.
Which meant the fixed price term was more like 4 and a half years than five.
At renewal point their prices near on doubled . In all cases my clients after complaining claimed back the difference in the 2 unit rates for the period the contract was renewed early for.
If you were renewed early you have a very strong case to get the difference in unit rate paid back. One of my clients got 8 1/2 K back
