If your husband has been claiming for over 6 months you will be entitled to a jobgrant of £250 and if you receive housing and council tax benefit this will continue for 4 weeks after you start work. Call your jobcentre and ask for a new deal for partners interview.

Your husband is unlikely to continue receiving JSA but can still sign on for his NI credits.
