Does anyone know where I can get some dirt cheap kitchen cabinet doors of various sizes? When moving into our house we were always going to redo the kitchen - but we just don't have the cash to do so atm. Thought I would give it a bit of a make over before xmas.

I wouldn't if your on a budget. Leave the doors as they are as they along with the top are the most expensive parts of a kitchen.
I've only ever seen one kitchen with swapped doors that looked reasonable. usually the new doors make the kitchens pelments, cornices, and end panels look dated.
Wait and save for what you ultimately want. It will be worth it in the end.

have you tried painting the doors, we did this with ours recently and have come up great and very cheap too!!
failing that have a look at these guys http://www.doors.homestylekitchens.co.uk/?gclid=CLCR1_T76Y8CFSEaEAodmVTPYg but I would take dreamys advice, when youu start with the doors you then need to consider the cornices etc as they wont match anymore and then the price goes up and up0 -
Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Just give the doors a nice coat of paint. Take your time and make a nice job of it. You do not want doors of various sizes, you want doors of the exact size of yours. I investigated the cost of replacement doors once. It would have been no dearer to replace the kitchen.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
Most kitchen suppliers will also sell the units and doors separately (I**a have some styles as doors only, probably the best value). It depends on what you want to do. If the layout of the kitchen doesn't need changing, and the units are in good nick then its less hassle to change the doors. I redid my kitchen last year, and didn't like any of the kitchens I could afford, so got carcasses only and then had doors made to fit from JustDoors. They're MDF with primer, so you can paint them yourself, and if you want to update, you just sand and repaint, so they should last forever without becoming dated. Not the cheapest option, but I'm confident that the fact I can repaint them means that they're a good investment.0
