Id guess you can just uninstall IE8 (which is a BETA version and should never really have been installed anyway!) and it will revert back to IE7:idea:0

If your not happy with IE, try Firefox.“Everything comes to pass, nothing comes to stay.”0

Sorry I cant help in this instance but as said above, try Firefox. It is a much better browser.0

when going to add remove programs you have to make sure that "Show installed updates" is checked and you will see it. Just uninstall and IE7 should come back. If not you will have to download it.0

i could do with getting rid of ie8 too,
espresso i have sp2 does that mean i can uninstall ie8 and ie7 should still be on my laptop0 -

The point of beta software is that people try it out to find bugs that the developers may have missed. Afterall, there's millions of different hardware and software configurations, MS can't test on all of them. So they release it as a beta allowing people to try it, and find the problems. People get to try the latest version with all the cool features, MS get told about bugs so they can fix them for release0 -
If you want to try Internet Explorer 8 you could use Virtual PC and and the "Internet Explorer Application Compatibility VPC Image" on a spare PC.
Sorry - just had to say that0 -

Im WELL aware of why BETA versions exist iviv. Im simply saying its safer to let 'someone else' test them
Why put your computer at risk when theres always someone else willing to do so?:idea:0 -

But if everyone took that atitude we wouldn't have beta testers
Heck, for things like games, you have people queueing up, and in some cases paying to become beta testers :P0
