Looking to switch

Hey guys,

I've just moved into a new flat and am looking to switch from EDF who are the current suppliers as looking at the comparison tables, EON are cheaper. Although I have just read on the forum attached the MSE article, that BG and EON are raising their prices again soon - is this true?

Also, is it worth capping the electricity tariff if I might only end up staying at my property for a year? ie. it's a rental property and currently only has a one year contract.

Any advice gratefully received :money:

  • BG and Eon have already raised prices but some of their products they left at a pre-increase rate to attract custom. If the Eon rate quoted is the online extra saver v9 it's the increased price. Search the forum for info on the BG click tariff to see what's happen there.
