Tommy Morris alias Home & Bargain is great, you can't beat the prices, plus stock changes all the time.

Well worth a look, often has some great deals on toys.

I think he's mainly in the north at the moment but I've heard there are plans to move south!

Makes a change from the usual rip-off Britain.

I emailed about 3 weeks ago and asked if they had any plans to move south and was told Not for a good 3 years or so  Im GUTTED!!!:o

  • The brightmet store were doing Lindt chocolate bunnies and santas for 99p each!
  • During a fleeting visit to Oldham today I noticed a Home Bargains, popped in and saw that they had official Apple Ipod Photo Docks (model number M9868G/A). They were either £6 or £7 and they originally retail for £30 (I know because I was looking at getting one a while back). They had perhaps 10-15 of them. Without looking things up I'm not sure which generation Ipods they are compatible with (maybe all?) but I'm 99% certain that they won't work with the Nano/Mini/Shuffle.

On a side note I was quite impressed with the Oldham store. Much better than my usual one in Manchester Picadilly (which is a Quality Save but it's the same store). If I'd had a car (and a bit more cash on me!) I could have brought back a whole load of stuff.
  • when did bunnies mean Christmas ??????
