From personal experience I know that they have some fantastic deals and I don’t want to spoil the fun.
But be a bit careful with the foodstuffs you buy from Home Bargains since if you look closely, you’ll notice that in most cases where there is a cracking deal on food, it is close to the expiry date……
Recently they had desiccated coconut milk powder – very difficult to find and normally costs around £1.20. Home Bargain price – 10p! Yes, only 10p!
The only thing was the packs were expiring in the end of December……Well that didn’t stop me from buying a couple of packs…now the problem is what can I do with them?My reality check bounced.0 -
The Froot Refresh bottles at 10p each or 12 for £1 are Feb2006 dated as I looked at that when buying.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0

Food stuffs dates are a guideline, i would use it afew months past the sell by date without any problem0

Spotted in Quality Save (walkden branch) earlier - Umbro Deo & 100ml Aftershave boxed sets for £2.99, perfect stocking filler at that price!
Regarding the foodstuffs - I agree with pesky, you can use alot of things long after the sell-by / use-by date. The UK seems to be the only country where we actually take notice of those anyway - Canada/US don't even bother looking, except items such as milk (which strangely always seems to have a much longer shelf life than our milk).
That said, I did buy some Cranberry sauce from HB once, and got home to discover it was already 4 months out of date! I do check the dates with food there now, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy something with a short shelf-life.0 -

They have some magnetic games at 99p for the fridge. I bought a couple as they looked to be okay quality, walked around the corner to another gift store that had the same games in the window at £9.99! Result!...
