a few months ago i would have agreed as he used to love playing with his cousin's dolls & pushchair but lately he has been looking at argos catalogue telling me what boys & girl things are & saying pink is for girls! he must have got it from playgroup as we have always said he could play with whatever he wanted & not restricted to typical boys things. (he naturally prefers cars to anything else though! dh is obsessed with them too so must be genetic!)prob 4 the best as we have really got enough stuff for Xmas anyway as been buying from sales all year! thanks anyway!bbford wrote:I guess it is a bit girly, mostly because there is a girl advertising on the packaging and the microphone is pink, but worth a look as he's only 3 probably wouldn't care too much.

Hi,
we have Home Bargains here, (Hull) and it is a great store. If you have any little girls to buy for they have loads of Strawberry Shortcakes dolls and accessories which are really good.
I also bought a Bop It Extreme 2 for £8.99 a few weeks ago, they are approaching £20 in most stores.
Its all about timing in there, you can get a real bargain.

Just been in and bought 1 litre (4x25cl cans) of Aussie wine for 99p WOW
Not tried it yet, they have Chardonnay or Cabernet Shiraz both 13%.
Now that calls for a drink.
Edit: Wrong price on wine, today packs of 4 split on shelf and priced at 99p each, good job I got mine to try yesterday. Oh well.
Also for when you have drunk all the cheap wine they have some high waisted slimming pants (the ladies know what I mean) at £6.99 in all sizes up to XL.Josey0 -

Thats my reason for going in once a week - often have some really good deals on beers there (and wine). The alcohol stuff is more frequently ongoing aswell - for example, I drink Labatts and every time I've been in, there's been plenty there on the shelf (4-pack for £1.99).0 -
