Honda CRV
I am new to this site, so I hope I am in the right place. I want to buy a Honda CRV diesel EX - either brand new or nearly new. I've not had to buy a car directly before and wondered whether anyone had any good tips - particularly relating to Honda's.
I've checked all the sites and it looks like I can get the model down to just under £23k new - a saving of around £2500 but in today's climate, I am sure there must be a better deal to be done
All thoughts gratefully received!

Good choice. (I am mulling over an ES at the moment next swap) £23K is about it for what your after. Worth running searches for used cars on Autotrader.co.uk as dealers often clear ex-demo cars on there, its upto you but for 1000 miles on the clock (mostly going around the block) you could save another £1000 to £3000 on an 'as good as new' car. Honda dealers are great for service too. Look on the bright side, low discounts mean good prices when you come to sell on. There is an 08 on there now with 1184 miles for £20991 but its the fully loaded EX with all the ACC/CMBS/HID/AFS (active cruise control, radar anticrash, active HID headlights etc worth a fortune new) James Bond gets less gadgets! Personally I would let some else pay that initial 30 seconds of heavy depreciation as it drives off the tranporter lorry and buy something like above.0

List with metallic paint is £22249. At Drive the Deal the price is £20339.
For the ES Sat Nav list is £23649 inc metallic, and DTD price is £21599.The man without a signature.0
