acer extensa 5620g - any good?

I'm hoping for a little help here, an absolute computer duffer (just about managing to type this!!!) so could you far more knowledgeable people take a look and tell me if I'm being sold a good deal or not. Need to use it to do some typing, store some photos and music(not much) surf the web etc.
