The OP's link doenae work because Energy watch are closing down and have shut their doors as of 30 Sept...

what are the eligibility criteria for the free annual gas safety check? i can't find two places on the web that agree. some say pensioners have to be in receipt of pension credit or housing/council tax benefit to get the check. others say all the people in the household have to be pensioners. does anyone know which is correct?

has anyone successfully arranged a free gas safety check from British Gas without meeting either of these two criteria?
