well evening! eciting news oh has a 2nd interview on tuesday so by the end of october we will probably find out where we stand hehe ive also been decorating cheaply ive been very busy with work doing unsocial hours and i look forward to my wage this month to see how much the unsocial hours have paid off or if the tax man is really just a cruel robbing flint hope not hope everyone else is doing ok on the journey to debt free dom x

Morning,after spendinga few days telling myself off for wanting to spend cash i find myself back on the straight and narrow with no spending after picking lots of things up from the ikeai realised that i needed to think of debt more than what i wanted so we put it all back and came home like saddos feeling down in the dumps...... then i began to feel positive at how responsible i was leaving the material things and focusing on what we have to pay off..... hopefully we will hear something this week about ohs 2nd interview we will be celebrating of let down lol :d..... i am working a late shift today... the slimming world diet has had a bad few few days and ive gained a few pounds so im feeling pretty sad about that but im now getting my head back on it :-)..... :T iwant to be at my target weight before the wedding hehe xx

Looks like you're doing so well - now don't get bored! Wobbles are okay, but it's too easy to fall off the bandwagon when your target is so far away. You and your OH must have awesome jobs/an insane number of jobs to be paying off 35k per year! I'm 23, and trying to pay off my debts so I can then think about the future, refusing to contemplate the good stuff like marriage or a house till I can pay for it myself. By compatison OH has done really well, never had debts, not even a student loan and potentially a good white collar career ahead of him when he does the last load of qualifying exams, and a very healthy looking savings account. Good thing he's such a chirpy cheerleader or I might have to hate him

hi there well yes we pay 500 mortgage and we make extra where we can maybe ive miscalculated but im aiming for 2.5 years hehe just at work at present i wish i dint have debt it is such a burden isnt it.... especially with todays climate one must learn these lessons..... i am a nurse oh is a senior computer engineer plus he does work at home too hes waiting to hear back from a new job fingers crossed thanx for posting :P xxx

Helloooo i havent posted on my diary in nearly a month.... ive just completed a new soa.... and surplus 300 quid ppm..... that doesnt include when i work unsocial hours or ohs jobs so that included makes nearly 700 quid ...... anyhooooo had a bit of luck thrown our way.... oh was given some equiptment and he put it on ebay its currently up at 1k and the bidding has not yet finished ! so that will go straight in our wedding fund some will be paid on credit things also i have 260 that i loaned out to parents they are giving this back also so thats 1200 quid nearly i will hopefully have 2500 in savings before jan for the wedding.... if i wasnt getting married id be clearning a debt but i do intend to pay a lump on a credit card ..... its a miserable month but things seem to be getting brighter for me hehe he :T

Wow that is really good the item you are selling for £1k+. Good luck to you. We all get down in the dumps at times but its being able to take a deep breath, pick yourself up and get on with it that matters.
