Hello all, im starting a new diary because i changed my username simply because i was worried somebody may identify me at work and i didnt really want that not that i am ashamed of my debt i just dont like the idea of people knowing me like that (does that make sense) anyway i have done soa's previously and i am fine with that just needed a den i could write to hehe..... so ive managed to be naughty and use 30 quid on a credit card !! i stayed well within limit however the intrest took it over the limit and so i got a overlimit charge GRRRRRRRRR i do not see the point of that so anyway im attempting to save for my wedding aswell as do credit cards ....... i get quite stale easily and talk myself into silly ideas however ive been very good of late of not doing that !! we are still aiming for 2 grand before xmas for wedding savings and it would have been 3000 but my bank charges are delayed and going to the ombusman anyhow so if i get that back it will be a miracle ......my oh is in a pretty goood job and recently got interviewed for a new post with a potential 6 k payrise or more so if that all comes into place things will be even smoothley running however i am not relying on this....... ive sold everything i can on ebay so ive done all that and cleared out decluttered we have a small bottom floor flat theres only an upstairs so not much room for clutter lol !! Ihave been doing loads of unsocial hours to make more cash and i have limited the use of my car and kept my shopping to a reasonable budget :-) ive cut all luxuries to the minimum and im happy with this....... this month non existent saving will have to go to the wind i want to get away from my overlimit credit card the other credit cards are well away from that so happy with minimum payments for now !! i was considering trying to half what we saved half in cash half on credit card, and think of transferring to a 0% next year but then if that didnt allow we would have to do a current account transfer which would mean we would be likely to pay 14.9 % it looks stupid i know so i think we will give that a miss !! hoepfully knowone has flaked due to boring reading lol aww and im 24 so still quite possibly naieve about things lol

I forgot to say that i will be getting a £50 marks and spencer voucher for recommending a friend to sky we both get it if we pay for everything so not getting a free sky box or something like that !! so when that comes i will be using it to stock up on freezable meats any storecupboard ingrediants etc etc so that will be nice ...... ive got my spending diary out again hehe eeeek maybe make me think twice lol !! u can soon creep back to old ways if we dont watch it eh :P xx

Morning all, life is plodding along nicely just not fast enuff for my dfw journey haha why does it take so long eh no quick fixes for this, the amount of junk i get on get debt free it does my head in offering loans and 200% apr aw mygod as if ....... why cant my number come up on the lottery hehe ........ anyway in the next few weeks should get a 100 quid for opening a new bank account and then hopefully soon some of the quidico cash will come through hehehe and hopefully oh will keep getting extra jobs and maybe hopefully he will get the step up with a big payrise yipeeee all before the years out i hope lol !! i want to see some pound coins dazzling my savings account for my weddimg haha xx

hmmm nobodys talking ... i am physically sick of my homeowork on iv administration if i have to look anymore drugs up i may faint ive been doing this since 11.30 am im still going with mini breaks but goodness, il be glad when its signed off haha.....anyway hows everyone elses debt busting going ?/ i feel the need for a cuppa anyone else for one ???

feeling very good did a new soa last night and it seems we have taken 2 k off the whole debt and if we carry on we will be debt free mid way through 2010 wooo hoooo thats perked me up somewhat .....also oh has had good news firstly he has an interview for a new job with a 10 k pay rise woo hooo im hoping he gets this ...... also next bit of news he has been told that an offer will be drawn up for him from another company for a 28k salary including car etc etc .... so im crossing my fingers for either and well i feel its something that can really keep us going on this journey we all need a little pick me up dont we xxx:T

Nice to see you have started a diary H.T.G.D.F. & it will help you keep focussed. I know what you mean about going overlimit on CC. I didn't go overlimit but missed a payment last month by mistake on my 5.8% LOB Citicard. It wasn't the £12 charge that upset me so much as the fact that I lost the promotional rate, so had to put the whole balance onto 13.35% OD. Should have listened to Martin when he said to set up a DD. Oh well too late now!!

morning lovey, ouch that is a bit of a !!!!!! cant you ring and ask them to consider the promotional charge give them some trife lol how rude eh im lucky to get any nice credit card rates haha...... im up on the stepper have a fre lectur 10-11so im trying to get it out the way then im working nights tonight BUTguess what good news friends are re doing the house so we get a free couch curtains and rug some courtesey of habitat osme laura ashley which has made my day we just now need to redecorate before xmas which is easy ohs cousin is a painter and decorator(mates rates haha ) xxx

It happened a couple of months ago when I missed a payment so resigned myself to the fact that I lost my promotional rate! OH works nights too & also does extra shifts, the extra money that she earns is vital to help ut with debtbusting. Hope your OH gets th job he's going for, all the best!!

Thanks ITM07, me too every penny helps, i should get a really good wage this month unless the tax man has robbed it ! haha !! im shattered now going to watch tv then go to bed back on nights tonight yipeeeee xx
