Self employed- can I claim any sickness benefit ?

Hi, I am currently waiting to go into hospital for an operation on my esophagus. I have been told that I cannot drive for two weeks and cant lift heavy objects for six weeks after the op.
As I am self employed and work in the construction industry, this will virtually rule out me being able to work for 6 weeks.
My wife is in full time employment and we dont have any children.
Can I claim for anything during this period ?

If you're a sole trader, Incapacity Benefit if you've paid enough stamp. If you're set up S/E as a Ltd Company, you pay yourself SSP and your Ltd company claims it back off the taxman. It doesn't come as cash but is effectively knocked off the tax bill.
