NPower put me on wrong tariff
Options
I moved into my house in Oct 07 - its a 3 bedroom semi and i live on my own. NPower asked me some questions of type of house, how many ppl lived there and what type of heating system i had (which i said was a normal central heating system). Having rang them to find out why they had placed me on the Economy 7 tariff where i have NO storage heaters they told me it was the best tariff to put me on at that time??.
I have already complained to them as to why they have done this and they said they would look into the complaint but i am not holding my breath. Needless to say i have now switched suppliers to BG and NPower are still awaiting me to pay my final bills with them. I don't really want to pay the bills if i have been overcharged from day 1?.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Do you have a 2-tier electric meter? It maybe that the person living there before you had E7, and if you gave 2 readings they'll just automatically put you on the E7 tariff. I paid the E7 tariff for nearly 2 years because I was too stupid figure it out.
Give them a ring, they changed my tariff from a E7 to a standard one over the phone straight away. This space is available to rent...0
