Well, just over 24 hours and counting for me before I open my mouth for the first time as a teacher and hope what comes out of it is vaguely intelligent sounding!
Think (hope!) I've got everything ready for the first session.
Offered another taster course today, which I said I'd do. I was also asked to do the full length one starting in January but that would mean teaching 3 nights a week (and writing the courses and doing all the prep) and I've said no - it's too much. If one of my other courses doesn't make the numbers, I've said I'll do that one as my second one, but I'm not going to commit to 3 nights a week, it's too much."Stay Wonky":D

Maz, the running track was great, it was quite weird running round and round a ship that was moving over water...However, about Wednesday I started with a really bad cold and my 10K should have been yesterday, but my cold has gone to my chest and I can't seem to shift it, so we didn't do it. I suppose I was being too ambitious trying to do it the day after we got back.. If I had been a man (sorry I know I am being sexist) I maybe could have done it, but as it was I had to get the washing done for the OH to go back to work today.
