I know - it really is daft. Just spoken to Natwest and they have told me to go into the bank and see someone face to face. The woman I spoke with does not know why it says that either!

My advise would be to go, stick to your guns and ask for an explanation in plain English! At least you will know exactly where you stand.

Good luck, post back here with the results.

Hi, i didnt realise you can be refunded the amount you have paid into you PPI. I have just recently cancelled mine on my cahoot flexible loan, but have heard nothing about a refund? Is this general practce that the amount you have paid is refunded. Has anyone else had a refund from the cahoot flexible loan?

    Thanks

    Donna

hey guys, really want to write to my bank about this but not sure what to include in the letter, i have the template off motley but am not sure which reason to use as i dont remember much about the conversation as it was a year and a half ago. Do you think it would work if i put that it was not explained clearly how much i would pay in PPI and would not have taken it had i known. Has anyone done this with halifax and what did you put.

I had mine refunded, so got the total amount back, even what I had paid. Not sure about Cahoot though, as mine was with the Lloyds

I was not clearly explained about PPI when I took the loan out, I also was not told that PPI was OPTIONAL. They practically forced it upon me. Perhaps it was the same for you?
