    Congrats !
hehe great feeling isnt it ?! :j  :D

Trick is folks, dont take no for an answer - kick up a fuss and they will crumble eventually.

TSB refunded me £1300 a couple of weeks ago on one loan and after a few letters of complaint they have agreed in writing to refund the PPI on my other loan. They said it would be done within 21 days.
I wont post figures etc untill the transaction is complete though.

I keep checking online like an excited child

    Well, I got it :j
another £2108 refund shaved off my balance !

    :j :D :T
    Debt at highest £16k+
    Debt at lightbulb moment £14,800
    Current debt £6336
Cleared £4206 in November 05 How ? Bye Bye PPI :)

    Hi all,
Have posted a longer message earlier - edited version comin up.
    £21,000 loan
    Insurance £5452
    Interest £5475.20

Looked at T&C - says can cancel at any time but "This will not affect the customers obligation to continue to repay the outsatnding balance of the loan and the bank will advise the customer of the amended repayments( which will be greater than the Main Loan repayments) required as aresult of cancellation.
Why will my payments increase if money knocked off my loan?? Really doin my head in!
    Cheers all!

    I don't really understand that.

You can cancel PPI at any time, but they are saying that you will have to pay MORE?
What about a rebate for being mis-sold the insurance in the first place?

I know - it really is daft. Just spoken to Natwest and they have told me to go into the bank and see someone face to face. The woman I spoke with does not know why it says that either!
