Figures for August were anywhere between a 0.9% drop (source:Citywire) to a 1.8% drop (source: The Sun) depending on who you believe!

    Month on Month.

I should have been more specific about whose figures given that there are loads!

We'll go for the FT House Price index - last month they recorded a 1.3% drop.

I suspect this month will be slightly better than most with the government measures and lowering of mortgage rates before all hell let loose in the city, next month will be different story.

Also, a lot of the lenders reduced their rates a couple of weeks ago, so that might have an effect? Might have given people a few more options to secure a deal.

Forgot to also say - for people who aren't familiar with polls, you can click on the voting numbers next to the percentages to see who voted for what.

Gives a good idea as to the allegiances on this board actually!
