With my forms I sorted out all the letters I had from various debt collection agencies so that I had the latest one for each debt, and then I just put down that address.
The judge seemed happy with that as he didn't even want to see me so I must have done it right.:T Declared bankrupt 12/09/08 at 2.17pm!:T

thanks cybachiq, did you put that address but the name of your original creditor? i think this is what ill do0

I filled mine in online and I had about 70 creditors and £122K of debt, when I printed it off and saw just how much paper there was there I was very pleased I did it that way.
You can do it bit by bit and it's quite manageable.0 -
Thanks for that advice Mick, I can see that the creditor bit is gonna give me a headache as most of mine have been sold on.Some Days are Diamonds Some Days are Stones,Sometimes the hard times won't leave meBSC 162:beer:Banktupt 22 Oct 2008 at 10am!0

I did it online approx 8 creditors and came to 30 pages once printed (of which I did three copies(only to find out they only needed one))"Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

Hi everyone
I did it, today was the day I was officially declared bankrupt at 3.15 this afternoon
The day didnt start well, I arrived at Bradford County Court and sat down with a clerk and she went over my papers, we were just about done and I was busy signing away, then she said "o no" we cant do this here you need to go to Dewsbury court, at this time i was almost in tears as I just wanted to get it over and done with today.
She called Dewsbury and luckil they said if i could get there ASAP they would see me today.
So i spead to Dewsbury sat with the clerk she took quite a lot longer to go over the forms than the lady in bradford had but still said they were fine sent me up the stairs with my forms i sat for 5 mins in a waiting room then went into see the judge. He was very nice asked if i had taken advice explained that whilst bankrupt i couldnt take out credit of more than £500 without informing them i am bankrupt, he even told me that i should put the lowest amount possible of my husbands income on my soa to the OR to avoid having to make payments (cant remember what the right word is lol)
5 mins with the judge then back downstairs with the clerk, she called the OR gave them my details I had a little chat with them while clerk typed order up. OR asked my phone numbers, if i owned a car and its value, if there were any issues which needed imediate attention ( house reposesion etc) then told me i would be sent a pack through the post and that someone would call in the next couple of days to arrange either a telephone or face to face interview.
So glad its all over hope this account of events helps someone else0
